The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati is expected to announce the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 exam admit card on January 7, 2026. Candidates can check and get their GATE Admit Card 2026 at the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Upon downloading the GATE 2026 Exam hall ticket, students are required to take printout and bring the same to the exam center.  It should be noted that candidates will not be able to enter the exam centre unless they have their own call letter.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 exam will take place on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The national level exam will be administered in numerous shifts at various examination centres throughout the country. Step 1 Visit the official website, gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
Step 2 On the home page, click the GOAPS login link.
Step 3 Enter your enrolment ID or registered email address and password.
Step 4 After logging in, click the GATE 2026 admission card link that appears on the screen.
Step 5 Download the admit card and print it for the exam day use.

GATE 2026 Subject Wise date and Timings

The GATE 2026 test will take place on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The subject-wise test dates have been revealed, and 30 papers will be held in 200 places across India. The exam will be held in two sessions, with test times ranging from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
